The Workshop aims to bring together leading academic scientists, 
researchers and practitioners to exchange and share their experiences 
and research results on all aspects of Smart Cities.
The workshop, to be held within CENTERIS (International Conference on 
ENTERprise Information Systems), provides an interdisciplinary platform 
to present and discuss the latest trends, innovations and concerns, as 
well as practical challenges and solutions encountered and adopted in 
the fields of Smart Cities.

* Smart city management: Smart city design and planning; Smart city 
implementation; Smart city monitoring and control.
* Infrastructure and technologies: Artificial intelligence and machine 
learning; Big data analytics for smart cities; Edge-Fog-Cloud Computing 
Architecture for IoT and Smart Services; IoT and smart services; 
Monitoring technologies; Optimization for smart cities; Smart devices 
and sensors.
* Applications: Smart buildings; Smart economy; Smart emergency 
management; Smart energy systems; Smart environment; Smart transportation.
* Transversal topics: Data security and privacy; Ethics; Inclusion; 
Modeling and simulation.

Important Dates ***
* Paper Submission deadline: May 31, 2022
* Notification of Acceptance/Rejection: July 17, 2022
* Final Submission: August 14, 2022

Proceedings and publications ***
* Only original contributions will be accepted.
* All papers accepted as full or short papers will be published in the 
conference proceedings to be published by Elsevier as a Procedia 
Computer Science volume (indexed by Scopus and Conference Proceedings 
Citation Index).
* Authors of selected papers will be invited to extend the paper for 
publication in international journals and edited books.

Submission types and guidelines ***
* Submissions can be made as full papers, short papers, poster papers 
and industry papers.
* All conference submissions will be double-blind peer reviewed by three 
members of the Scientific Committee.

The conference will be held physically at Olissipo Oriente Hotel, 
Lisbon, Portugal, with remote synchronous participation using Zoom 
videoconferencing software.
