CALL FOR PAPERS: NEAIS ‘22
The 4th New England Chapter, Association of Information Systems (AIS) Conference, 2022

Friday, October 28, 2022, Northeastern University, Boston

Note: All presenters are encouraged to attend the conference in person, as our current plan is to host the conference on the Northeastern University campus in Boston. However, if the situation changes, we will move to a virtual conference environment. The conference organizing committee closely monitors the developments related to Coronavirus and guidance from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, AIS, and the WHO. We will share any changes/updates with the community immediately.

SUBMISSION DEADLINE: Monday, July 11, 2022
Registration is required to attend, but there is no conference fee. All the conference participants must join the NEAIS chapter before or at the beginning of the conference (the NEAIS membership fee is $10/Annual and free for doctoral students and Retired/Emeritus faculty).

NEAIS 2022 seeks to enhance knowledge sharing and community building among IS scholars in the Northeast. We invite submissions reflecting a plurality of perspectives on the discipline, with special emphasis on those relevant to the conference theme Misinformation.

The New England Chapter of the Association for Information Systems (NEAIS) serves AIS members in the Northeastern United States. We welcome submissions from all IS scholars, international and US domestic, including Ph.D. students, and especially encourage submissions from those in the Northeast region.

The conference will include parallel presentation sessions, invited keynote speakers, and panel sessions.  In addition, there will be speakers from academia and industry from across the Northeast region and beyond. Students are also encouraged to submit their papers in conjunction with their faculty advisors and present them at the conference.

Abstract of accepted papers will appear in the electronic conference proceedings. The authors retain the copyright to their work. At least one author must register for and present at the conference. High-quality papers will be nominated for the best paper award and fast-tracked to participating journals.

Submissions
All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. Submissions may be in the form of one or more of the following: Completed research papers, research-in-progress papers, case studies, extended abstracts, or proposals for panel discussions. Submissions will receive reviewer feedback.

Completed Research: Completed research papers should be no more than 2,500 words, including all materials and sections such as figures, tables, and references.

Research-in-Progress: Research-in-progress proposals (abstracts) or a summary of tentative results of the study to date of 500-1000 words.

Panel Submissions: Individuals interested in conducting a panel dealing with technological, managerial, professional, teaching, societal, national, or international issues of information technology management are invited to submit a 500-1000-word proposal covering the objectives, issues to be covered, and the names and email addresses of the panelists.
