Job Announcement

The Department of Accounting and Information Systems in the College of Business Administration of The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) invites applications from qualified candidates for one non-tenure track faculty position in Information Systems. Candidates with teaching experience/interest in all areas of information systems will be considered. Salary and benefits are AACSB-competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications. Responsibilities include teaching at both undergraduate and graduate levels, and providing service that contributes to the advancement of education in the discipline and the public good.  It is expected that the successful candidate will remain current in the discipline through scholarly work or practice activities. The expected starting date is September 1, 2023. Salary and benefits are AACSB-competitive and appropriate for experience and qualifications. Hiring decisions are subject to final budget approval.



Required Qualifications

A Ph.D. degree in Information Systems (or closely aligned discipline) from an AACSB-accredited institution is required. Strong evidence of potential for quality instruction, mentorship and support to students is also required. Collegiality and excellent communication skills are important.
