General:
The Department of Information Systems and Decision Sciences (ISDS) is
searching for a faculty member to teach undergraduate students, conduct
scholarly and applied research, and engage in service-related activities.
The primary teaching and research interests will be in Information Systems
with a teaching focus on at least one of these areas:
1) Application Development (Web and Mobile)
2) Relational Databases (Design and Data Retrieval)
3) Cloud Services (e.g., AWS)
4) Cybersecurity (Security Controls and Penetration Testing)
Specific assignments are dependent on departmental needs and the background
of the individual.

Qualifications:

Required Education (from an accredited institution or foreign equivalent):
1. An earned doctorate (Ph.D.) in Information Systems or closely related
field from an accredited (or equivalent) institution.
2. Applicants nearing completion of the doctorate (ABD) may be considered;
however, for appointment, the doctorate must be completed by August 16,
2023.

Required Experience:
1. Successful teaching experience at the undergraduate level
2. Evidence of publications in scholarly journals, and
3. Ability to demonstrate a commitment to working effectively with faculty,
staff, and students from diverse ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic
backgrounds

Preferred Experience:
1. Excellence in teaching experience at the undergraduate level in two of
the focus areas:
a. Application Development (Web and Mobile)
b. Relational Databases (Design and Data Retrieval)
c. Cloud Services (e.g., DWS)
d. Cybersecurity (Security Controls and Penetration Testing)
2. Established record of research and scholarly publications in Information
Systems
