The Henry W. Bloch School of Management at the University of Missouri-Kansas City is seeking applications for a tenure-track or tenured position focused on topics relevant to Accounting Information Systems.  We welcome candidates trained in information systems, analytics, as well as those trained specifically in Accounting Information Systems. Consideration will be given to candidates for assistant, associate, or full professor positions. Senior candidates with strong credentials may be eligible for an endowed chair or professorship.

Requirements:
*             PhD or DBA in accounting (with an Accounting Information Systems focus), information systems, analytics, or a related discipline.  We welcome applicants from outside the business school but require that applicants come from an institution where the business school is accredited by AACSB
*             Candidates must demonstrate expertise in one or more areas central to the accounting profession's growing focus on analytics, technology, information security and information systems.
*             ABDs will be considered.  However, the doctoral degree must be completed by the start date.
*             Candidates must offer evidence of instructional effectiveness. Candidates also must demonstrate the potential to effectively utilize different teaching modalities and to address the needs of students from across a broad portfolio of programs and students from underrepresented groups.
*             Evidence demonstrating the capability to publish in high-impact journals. For more senior candidates, the candidate must have an established and active research program with a significant portfolio of top-tier publications.
