The Department of Computer Science at the State University of New York at
Oswego is *seeking applicants for FOUR tenure track faculty members* at the
rank of assistant professor / assistant professor of practice:

*Assistant Professor (Tenure Track) of Computer Science*
* Description of Responsibilities:*  The faculty member will teach core
courses in the CS curriculum, elective courses in areas of expertise,
and possibly other courses in programs served by the department. The
faculty member will conduct relevant research, and participate in
advisement and other department and campus service.

* Required Qualifications:*
     PhD in Computer Science or a related field by time of appointment
     Documented teaching and research ability
     Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion

Science*
* Description of Responsibilities:*  The faculty member will teach required
and elective courses related to artificial intelligence and
computational cognitive science, and possibly other courses in programs
served by the department. The faculty member will conduct relevant
research, and participate in advisement and other department and campus
service.

* Required Qualifications:*
     PhD in Computer Science, Cognitive Science or a related field by
time of appointment

courses, including those on HCI principles and research methods,
graduate seminars in areas of expertise, and related undergraduate
courses in programs served by the department. The faculty member will
also conduct relevant research, oversee graduate projects, work with
industry to arrange projects and internships, and participate in
advisement and other department and campus service.

* Required Qualifications:*
     PhD in Human Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related
field by time of appointment
     Documented teaching and research ability
     Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
* Preferred Qualifications:*
     Expertise in one or more of: accessibility, VR systems, educational
applications, and/or areas covered by other degree programs offered by
the department.

Interaction*

courses on HCI principles, methods, practices, and software/interface

undergraduate courses in programs served by the department. The faculty
member will also oversee graduate projects, work with industry to
arrange projects and internships, help manage HCI labs, and participate
in advisement and other department and campus service.

* Required Qualifications:*
     • Masters degree in Human Computer Interaction, Computer Science,
or a related field (i.e., no PhD required)
     • Documented experience with HCI practices in industrial software
development
     • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion

* Preferred Qualifications:*
     • Documented teaching ability
     • Expertise in one or more of: accessibility, VR systems,
educational applications, and/or areas covered by other degree programs
offered by the department
