[AISWorld] SIGHCI Doctoral Student Travel Scholarship

Dear SIGHCI Community,
I am reaching out to all doctoral students (with an acceptance of your paper to the SIGHCI 2022 workshop), who have authored the paper and will be personally presenting their paper, to consider applying for a SIGHCI Doctoral Student Travel Scholarship.
The maximum amount of these scholarships is $1,000 and can vary from year-to-year based on both SIGHCI funds available and the number of awarded scholarships.

  *   The form is available online (https://forms.gle/VFfbGrFrWZyEeV1b8), where you will be able to enter/ upload the needed information, which will include:
  *   Full Name, Gender, Age, Country of Origin, Country of Doctoral Studies University Name and Personal Email address at the university (i.e., university email domain)
  *   Program Name and Current Status in PhD program (1st year, 2nd year, etc.)
  *   Travel Budget (i.e., the expected costs, in detail, for travel and lodging)
  *   Statement of need (500 words max), along with an attached brief letter from the student’s graduate advisor, who confirms that “The student has {either none or limited} financial support from the academic institution.”
Please submit the online form by November 13. Notifications of decisions will be sent out by November 20.
