They have other fake IS journals as well, for example EJIS. It’s probably a good idea for editors to check that website.

Subject: [AISWorld] Warning: Fake website for Scandinavian Journal of Information Systems
Dear AIS members,

A fake web-site poses as the official website of the Scandinavian Journal of Information Systems (SJIS). Authors can submit papers through the site and will receive an accept letter including a demand of a USD 250 publication fee almost immediately.
The fake site contains a list of all the journal’s past issues (copied from the official site) with papers that have not been accepted into the journal added to the most recent issue. These added papers are referenced by Google scholar!

Unfortunately, Scopus links to the fake site at the moment. It will take some time for Scopus to replace the fake link.

SJIS is affiliated with AIS and submissions are made through the journal’s page at AIS Electronic Library: https://aisel.aisnet.org/sjis/

Do not trust or respond to emails from sjiseditor at gmail.com <mailto:sjiseditor at gmail.com>

Stay safe!
