The Department of Information Systems and Business Analytics in the Hankamer School of Business at Baylor University invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor rank. Preference will be given to candidates with a professional background in cybersecurity, demonstrated potential for teaching in the area, and publishing high-quality research relevant to the field. The Department of Information Systems and Business Analytics seeks to enhance the school's standing and reputation with ambitious researchers who have initiated and/or sustained a record of publications in top-notch journals. Candidates should also be devoted to excellence in teaching. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Preliminary interviews will be held at the 2023 AMCIS conference in August in Panama City. To ensure full consideration, submit a complete application by September 15.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess or expect to earn before August 2024, a doctorate in Information Systems or a closely related field. While prior industry experience in cybersecurity is not mandatory, it is preferable. Along with these academic and professional credentials, applicants should have the ability to collaborate effectively with other faculty in a dynamic team-oriented educational environment. Finally, candidates should demonstrate a record of high-quality research or research promise.
