Multiple Tenure-Track Positions in IS Available from CUHK Business School, Chinese University of Hong Kong (Assistant / Associate Professor)



The Department of Decisions, Operations, and Technology (formerly known as Decision Sciences and Managerial Economics) at the Business School of CUHK (The Chinese University of Hong Kong) is now inviting applications for multiple tenure-track faculty positions in the area of Information Systems commencing Fall 2024. For the assistant professor positions, we welcome applications from both fresh Ph.D. graduates and seasoned assistant professors. For associate professor positions, tenured appointments will be considered.



Applicants should have (i) a PhD degree in Information Systems/Sciences, Computer Science, or related disciplines (by the time reporting for duty); (ii) competence in high-quality research in information systems; and (iii) a strong commitment to teaching and services. Senior applicants should have an outstanding track record of research and teaching accomplishments.



Responsibilities include publishing high-quality scholarly research and teaching undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses offered by the Department. Tenure-track appointments will normally be made on a contract basis for up to three years, which, subject to performance and mutual agreement, may lead to a longer-term appointment or substantiation later.

About the Department of Decisions, Operations, and Technology

The department name was recently changed to Department of Decisions, Operations, and Technology to reflect its recent development. The Department comprises three research areas: Management Information Systems (MIS), Operations Management, and Decisions/Business Economics.
