The information systems and security department at the Coles College of Business at Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for three (3) nine-month, tenure-track assistant professor positions and one (1) nine-month, non-tenure track lecturer / senior lecturer position. Details about the positions are as follows:

Assistant Professor of Information Systems and Security (Information Systems) (2 Positions)
Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for nine-month, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Information Systems and Security faculty positions in the Department of Information Systems and Security that begins August 2024.
Responsibilities

  *   Teaching courses at the undergraduate and graduate level in Information Systems, Healthcare Analytics, Informatics, and FinTech (e.g., application development, systems analysis & design, IS infrastructure, business analytics, healthcare informatics, electronic health records, digital payments, etc.).
  *   Research and scholarship in the area of expertise, and professional service to the Department, College, and University.
  *   The standard teaching load is 3/3 but is negotiable and can be reduced to 3/2 or 2/2 based on research productivity. Coles College flexibly allows summer support for new faculty for up to 3 years.
A doctorate, or the foreign equivalent, in Business Administration, Information Systems, Information Security and Assurance, Business/Health Analytics, or Management Science, or a related discipline, is required. NOTE: For ABDs, the required degree must be earned by the start date.

Preferred Qualifications Include

  *   A doctorate degree earned from an AACSB-accredited college/school.
  *   A record of research accomplishments.
  *   Record of prior teaching experience (in-person, online, or hybrid courses).

Responsibilities

  *   Teaching courses at the undergraduate and graduate level in the technical aspects of cybersecurity.
  *   Research and scholarship in the area of expertise, and professional service to the Department, College, and University.
  *   The standard teaching load is 3/3 but is negotiable and can be reduced to 3/2 or 2/2 based on research productivity. Coles College flexibly allows summer support for new faculty for up to 3 years.

Lecturer or Senior Lecturer of Information Systems and Security
Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a nine-month, non-tenure track Lecturer or Senior Lecturer of Information Systems and Security faculty position in the Department of Information Systems and Security that begins August 2024.
Responsibilities

  *   A commitment to excellence in teaching and service to the university, department and/or discipline is expected of all non-tenure track faculty.
  *   Teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses in information systems management, enterprise systems, IS project management, database, web development, IS architecture, systems analysis, and design, FinTech, principles of information security, or other courses related to information systems and/or information security.
  *   Some service to the department, college, and/or university is expected.
Required Qualifications Include
To teach undergraduate courses:
A Master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in a discipline related to business administration, information systems, and/or information security or a closely related discipline is required. OR A Master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in a non-related discipline with 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline is required.

To teach graduate courses:
A Terminal/Doctorate degree, or the foreign equivalent, in business administration, information systems, information security, or a related discipline is required.
