<div> We would like to invite information systems scholars studying global, international and cultural issues in IS implementation, development and use to propose minitracks for the upcoming AMCIS 2011 (August 4-8,2011). <div>The Global IS track at AMCIS 2011 welcomes submissions that relate to all aspects of global information systems, or IS research situated in a global, international or cross-cultural context. Examples include multi-country studies, cross-national and cross
cultural studies, research on global virtual teams, and issues relating to national and global policies affecting information systems adoption and use. The track is open to all methodological approaches and perspectives. </div>

<ul style="margin-top: 0pt; margin-bottom: 0pt; margin-left: 36pt; ">
<li style="margin-top: 5pt; margin-bottom: 5pt; ">IS Research that explicitly considers the international or global context (e.g. ERP implementations involving multiple countries)</li><li style="margin-top: 5pt; margin-bottom: 5pt; ">IS Research that explicitly considers the impacts of cultural values (e.g. impact of cultural values on systems use, adoption or development) </li><li style="margin-top: 5pt; margin-bottom: 5pt; ">Single country studies which can show implications for other locations or results different from other contexts</li><li style="margin-top: 5pt; margin-bottom: 5pt; ">Multi-country studies of information systems adoption, use, and development</li><li style="margin-top: 5pt; margin-bottom: 5pt; ">Cross-national and cross-cultural comparisons of information systems adoption, use and development</li><li style="margin-top: 5pt; margin-bottom: 5pt; ">Issues relating to the globally distributed teams </li></ul>
