  alt="SIG: Adoption and Diffusion of Information TechnologyA special interest group of the Association for Information SystemsThe Special Interest Group on the Adoption and Diffusion of Information Technology will again host a pre-ICIS workshop for people interested in information technology adoption and diffusion (DIGIT). DIGIT will be held on Sunday, December 12, 2010 in St. Louis, Missouri, USA.
The workshop will include paper roundtables, panel discussions and tutorials. Faculty members and doctoral students are encouraged to attend and submit papers for roundtable discussion. We currently have a strong program highlighted by a panel discussion on the workshop theme “Editorial Perspectives on ADIT Research: Past, Present, and Future”. The panelists are Robert G. Fichman, T. Ravichandran, and Robert W. Zmud. Please see the end of the message for the complete schedule.
It is not necessary to submit a paper in order to attend DIGIT, but attendees must be willing to participate in roundtable discussions. At roundtables, 8-10 researchers read a paper before the workshop and participate in a detailed discussion with the authors on the paper’s contribution, potential, and future. Authors have found the roundtable format valuable in developing their work further, and all participants were able to benefit from the issues and perspectives that emerged during the discussions.
