<p class="MsoNormal">AMCIS 2011 WORKSHOP REVIEW OF PHILOSOPHY-RELATED PAPERS</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Following up from the SIGPhilosophy meeting at ICIS 2010 in
St. Louis, MO, this tutorial and workshop is an initiative from the SIG to
reach out to AIS members who are interested in philosophical topics in IS, or
wish to brush up on the foundations of IS from the philosophical perspective.
We are fortunate to have a philosophy-trained presenter from the local
community who will share with us her insights into historical and contemporary
aspects of science and technology studies (STS) and theory of knowledge.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal"> </p>
<p class="MsoNormal">As part of the tutorial and workshop program (please refer
to program outline), we invite prospective attendees to submit their
philosophy-related works, or works-in-progress to be reviewed by other
attendees and the program facilitators. Attendees are expected to read the
papers before attending the workshop and will be expected to provide written
reviews to authors. Discussions surrounding the reviews will be held in the
second half of the full-day tutorial. Student papers will be given special
consideration.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">The target audience expected to benefit from this program
