DIGIT will be held from 8am to noon on Sunday, December 4, 2011 in the Shanghai International Convention Center (SHICC) in Shanghai, China. The theme this year is Adoption and Diffusion of Information Technology in a Globally Connected World:<o:p></o:p></span></pre><pre><span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Cambria","serif"'><o:p> </o:p></span></pre><pre style='margin-left:.5in'><span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Cambria","serif"'>In a changing world with increasing connectivity, adoption of Information Technology increasingly spans national and regional boundaries. <o:p></o:p></span></pre><pre style='margin-left:.5in'><span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Cambria","serif"'>This may raise new issues and introduce additional potential inhibitors to adoption, such as cultural issues and concerns about security and <o:p></o:p></span></pre><pre style='margin-left:.5in'><span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Cambria","serif"'>privacy, among others.
