<BR> <BR>--- DESCRIPTION --- <BR>Models of decision making, mainly
normative models of decision making, point to <BR>the critical role of
information in this process. This mini-track centers on the <BR>relationship
between the quality of the information that is employed in the
<BR>decision-making process on one hand, and, on the other hand, the product of
the <BR>decision, other aspects of the decision process, the consequences of the
<BR>decision, and/or its value. The ultimate goal of this research is to
produce <BR>solutions that bring under control and mitigate the negative effects
of poor <BR>information quality, i.e., improve decisions both subjectively and
objectively. <BR> <BR>Papers in this minitrack will aim to:
<BR>- Extend the existing understanding of the above relationships in a
chosen <BR>setting <BR>- Propose a new artifact(s) (e.g., a concept, model,
method, system <BR>implementation) that promises a new solution
<BR>- Examine the value of a previously proposed artifact <BR>- Refine
a previously proposed artifact <BR> <BR>We welcome original research papers
regardless of decision domain, decision <BR>process, or research methodology.
Since related problems have been studied in <BR>numerous problem domains and
diverse scientific disciplines, we encourage <BR>authors to explore this rich
