<p class="MsoNormal"><b>AMCIS 2012 Call for Panel Proposals<o:p></o:p></b></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">As in prior years, AMCIS 2012 provides the opportunity for a group of researchers to explore a topic or focus of interest in a panel format, typically involving a panel moderator (who poses several questions related to the topic) and three
to four expert contributors with alternative views or perspectives on the topic. Depending upon the topic, the experts can be drawn from the academy and/or from industry.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Of particular interest are panel submissions that are related to the conference theme, though panel proposals on other relevant topics are also welcome.
<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">To submit a panel proposal for AMCIS 2012, you should go to the AMCIS 2012 submissions page (<a href="http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/amcis2012">http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/amcis2012</a>). Once you have registered and logged in, you
can proceed to the “Author Center.” For panel proposals, you would indicate your “Submission Type” from the drop-down as “Panel Session.” For the panel “Title,” provide a short title that can be used to succinctly define (and market) your panel. In the Abstract
section, please provide a statement of the panel topic and who you believe the target audience to be. Again, this abstract will appear in the conference program so the abstract should be written in a manner that motivates conference participants to attend
and engage.<span style="color:#1F497D"><o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Your proposed co-panelists should be added as “co-Authors” (the panel proposer/moderator will be considered the “lead” author).<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Your manuscript submission should then include the preceding information (topic title and abstract) as well as the following sub-sections.<o:p></o:p></p>
