<P DIR=LTR><SPAN LANG="en-au"><FONT FACE="Times New Roman">The Journal of the Association for Information Systems (JAIS)</FONT> <FONT FACE="Times New Roman">is the flagship journal of the Association for Information Systems (AIS) and publishes scholarly contributions that represent the highest quality in the field in the field of information systems. JAIS particularly welcomes contributions that provide theor</FONT><FONT FACE="Times New Roman">e</FONT><FONT FACE="Times New Roman">tical insights that advance our understanding of information systems and information technology in organizations and society. JAIS is inclusive in its coverage of topics, level, and unit of analysis, theory, method, and philosophical and research approach</FONT><FONT FACE="Times New Roman">e</FONT><FONT FACE="Times New Roman">s, which reflects all aspects of information systems research globally. A signature feature of JAIS is its strong emphasis on theory.</FONT></SPAN></P>
<P DIR=LTR><SPAN LANG="en-au"><B><FONT FACE="Arial">Workshop Aims</FONT></B></SPAN></P>
<P DIR=LTR><SPAN LANG="en-au"><FONT FACE="Times New Roman">The aim of this workshop is to assist researchers who are seeking to publish work in the Journal of the Ass</FONT><FONT FACE="Times New Roman">ociation for Information Systems (JAIS) or journals of a similar nature. The workshop will discuss how to present work in terms of style and structure and also how to better demonstrate a contribution to knowledge and theory.</FONT></SPAN></P>
<P DIR=LTR><SPAN LANG="en-au"><B><FONT FACE="Arial">Workshop Agenda</FONT></B></SPAN></P>
<P DIR=LTR><SPAN LANG="en-au"><FONT FACE="Times New Roman">The workshop will begin with an overview of JAIS, the categories of papers that are published, and the editorial process. There will then be a session concerning writing strategies and structuring and positioning of papers, so as to improve the chance of</FONT> <FONT FACE="Times New Roman">p</FONT><FONT FACE="Times New Roman">ublication of submitted work. </FONT></SPAN></P>
<P DIR=LTR><SPAN LANG="en-au"><FONT FACE="Times New Roman">The major part of the workshop will be devoted to small group work, where participants </FONT></SPAN></P>
<P DIR=LTR><SPAN LANG="en-au"><FONT FACE="Times New Roman">discuss ideas and problems. Participants are encouraged to bring along an outline of current work that they are prepared to discuss.</FONT></SPAN></P>
