to the Resource Based View, corporate reputation is seen as a
core resource and
a major factor in gaining competitive advantage. Thanks to the
development of
Web-based technologies, stakeholders can easily spread their
own perspective
about an organization, its products, services, brands,

affecting its corporate reputation. This work examines the Web
side of
corporate reputation conceptualized as ‘online corporate
reputation’ and the
exploitation of IT (Online Reputation Management Systems) to
support the
related management practices. Based on the experience
developed by an Italian
leading e-service provider, the authors highlight a promising

the importance that e-service is gaining among firms and
public
administrations, academic research on this topic is still in
its infancy (<st1:city w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Santos</st1:place></st1:city>,
2003), and
relatively little work has been carried out. Although prior
analyses have
examined the rise and fall of specific theories or research
topics within the
e-service research field (Rust & Lemon, 2001; Rust &
Kannan, 2002;
Javalgi et al., 2004; Scupola et al., 2009), they have rarely
focused on
fundamental questions such as: what types of articles have
been influential in
e-service research? Does the e-service research field have
different subfields,
and what is the relationship, if any, among them? The purpose
of this study is
to answer the above-mentioned questions by using a
bibliometric approach. The
analysis, by identifying relevant concepts and theories that
have emerged in
the field of e-service, may help interested researchers
identify how they can
contribute to the field of e-service – by adding and enriching
emerging groups
or acting as bridges across groups.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

year, thousands of new technological ideas are conceived. An
ability to
innovate these ideas continues to be critical in surviving the
current business
world. This study identifies and empirically assesses the
characteristics of
technological innovativeness. A research model based on the
existing literature
on consumer innovativeness is thus presented. The model is
tested via a survey
instrument from a population of earlier adopters of mobile
money services in <st1:country-region w:st="on"><st1:place
w:st="on">Ghana</st1:place></st1:country-region> and
analyzed using ANOVA and independent sample t-test techniques
in SPSS. The
results showed that early adopters of technology are younger,
novelty seekers,
and more likely to have good employment and opinion leadership
than late
adopters. The study contributes to diffusion literature by
providing further
empirical evidence on the distinctive characteristics of early
and late
adopters of technology and posits that contrary to past
research, independent
judgment making of an individual does not affect
innovativeness.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

study examines the user experience of arranging a trip of
low-intermediate
complexity over a mobile device using existing travel
services. A research
platform is presented and findings reported to reveal the
potential problem
areas that users face when using their mobile device to make
trip arrangements
on a mobile device. The results are compared with computer
users to understand
whether the problems that mobile users face are statistically
significant when
compared with the potential problems that computer users face.
To gain deeper
understanding, the authors also analyze whether the type of
services, mobile
devices and user skills have an impact on the self-arrangement
experience on a
mobile device. Data was collected through controlled classroom
experiments with
samples of students. The main contribution of this study is
that it identifies
potential problem areas for mobile travel users and provides
insights for
practitioners to plan effective mobile channel strategies.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
