considered the premier information systems event in Europe and provides a
platform for the presentation of peer-reviewed academic research and networking
with information systems research academics and professionals. All submissions
are double-blind reviewed and recent acceptance rates have been close to 30%.
The electronic version of the conference proceedings will be available publicly

beautifully located on the shores of the Mediterranean in north-eastern Spain.
It is the second largest city in Spain and is clearly a Mediterranean city, not
only because of its geographic location, but also because of its history,
architecture, and cultural influences. The documented history of the city dates
back to the founding of a Roman colony in the second century B.C. Modern
Barcelona experienced spectacular growth and economic revival at the onset of
industrialisation during the second half of the 19th century. The city today is
known for its flourishing cultural, artistic, and musical communities, as well
as the splendour of Catalonian modernist architecture.</font></font></p><font size="3" face="Times New Roman">
