<p class="MsoNormal">Dear Colleagues,</p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><br>
If you conduct research in decision support systems,
business intelligence, or analytics, please consider contributing to the research track in the upcoming pre-ICIS BI Congress 3 (<a href="http://www2.commerce.virginia.edu/bic3/index.asp" target="_blank">http://www2.commerce.virginia.edu/bic3/index.asp</a>).</p>
<span><p>Keeping with the "Innovation" theme of the ICIS conference, the BI Congress
3 seeks
forward-thinking <strong>research </strong>and <strong>research-in-progress</strong> in the area of <a style="text-decoration:none;display:inline;color:rgb(5,68,22);border-bottom:3px double rgb(5,68,22)" class="inlineAdmedialink" href="http://www2.commerce.virginia.edu/bic3/rtrack.asp#">Big Data</a> Analytics.</p>
<p>Business Intelligence (BI)/ Decision Support (DSS)/ Analytics are core to many
businesses. In recent years, traditional approaches to these concepts have
been questioned as companies embrace voluminous, high-velocity data in a variety
of formats (i.e., multi-structured). How can organizations innovate through
this Big Data? And, how can academic research further innovative thinking in
this area? This <a style="text-decoration:none;display:inline;color:rgb(5,68,22);border-bottom:3px double rgb(5,68,22)" class="inlineAdmedialink" href="http://www2.commerce.virginia.edu/bic3/rtrack.asp#">research track</a> aims to promote theoretical, design science, behavioral
research and emerging applications in innovative areas of BI/DSS/Analytics. <strong>We
seek comprehensive research and research-in-process</strong> in topics including but not limited
to:</p>
