<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;color:#333333">It gives me great pleasure to announce the incoming Editor-in-Chief of the Australasian Journal of Information Systems is Associate Professor Kathy Lynch of the
University of the Sunshine Coast. Since graduating from Monash University, Dr Lynch has been a founding director of the Centre for Educational Multimedia (Monash), a founding member of the Centre for Organisational and Social Informatics (Monash), and a founding
member of the Information Systems Development Research Group (Monash). She maintains research associations with the Faculty of IT at the University of Technology Sydney, the Faculty of Computing and IT at Makerere University (Uganda), and the School of IS
at University of Cape Town.</span><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif""><o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;color:#333333">Dr Lynch was the Editor-in-Chief of the Interdisciplinary Journal of Information, Knowledge and Management (Vol 2 and 3), and maintains editorial positions on
a number of other Journals. She is a reviewer for the Australian Research Council, the National Research Foundation (South Africa) and the Research Council for Natural Sciences and Engineering (Finland) as well as for a number of international and local journals
and conferences.</span><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif""><o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;color:#333333">Dr Lynch's Australian adaption of a very successful US text book was awarded the Australian Publishers Award for the best tertiary learning and teaching (adaption)
in 2010 [Baltzan, Phillips, <b>Lynch</b> & Blakey (2010) "Business Driven Information Systems". McGrawHill].</span><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif""><o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;color:#333333">I commend Dr Lynch’s appointment to you.
