A scholarship is available in the J.E. Cairnes School of Business & Economics, NUI Galway, to facilitate fulltime research towards a PhD degree in the area of management control systems/ management information systems/performance management systems research. <BR>
<BR>
The Scholarship includes an annual stipend of up to €16,000. <BR>
<BR>
This research is located within the Institute for Business, Social Sciences and Public Policy (IBSSPP) under the third of five priority research areas: Business Performance, Agility and Governance. Researchers in this cluster are currently examining critical issues in performance management using a multidisciplinary approach. See www.nuigalway.ie/cisc<BR>

The Scholarship is open to all nationalities and is tenable for up to 4 years.<BR>
<BR>
Closing date for applications is 31st July 2012. Applicants should have some prior research experience as part of a masters programme. <BR>
