<div class="gmail_quote"><div bgcolor="#FFFFFF" text="#000000">Dear Colleagues,<br>
<br>
If you conduct research in decision support systems, business
intelligence, or analytics, please consider contributing to the <b>research
track</b> (<a href="http://www2.commerce.virginia.edu/bic3/rtrack.asp" target="_blank">http://www2.commerce.virginia.edu/bic3/rtrack.asp</a>)
in the upcoming <b>pre-ICIS BI Congress 3</b> (<a href="http://www2.commerce.virginia.edu/bic3/index.asp" target="_blank">http://www2.commerce.virginia.edu/bic3/index.asp</a>). <b>This is a joint effort between Teradata University Network and SIGDSS.<br>
</b>
<br>
Keeping with the "Innovation" theme of the ICIS conference, the BI
Congress 3 seeks forward-thinking research and research-in-progress
in the area of <u>Big Data Analytics</u>.<br>
<br>
Business Intelligence (BI)/ Decision Support (DSS)/ Analytics are
core to many businesses. In recent years, traditional approaches to
these concepts have been questioned as companies embrace voluminous,
high-velocity data in a variety of formats (i.e., multi-structured).
How can organizations innovate through this Big Data? And, how can
academic research further innovative thinking in this area? This <b><u>research
track</u></b> aims to promote theoretical, design science,
behavioral research and emerging applications in innovative areas of
BI/DSS/Analytics. <b>We seek comprehensive research and
research-in-process</b> in topics including but not limited to:<br>
<br>
<b>BI/DSS/Analytics from a management perspective</b><br>
<ul>
<li>Economics of information logistics</li>
<li>Inter-organizational BI</li>
<li>Critical success factors for information logistics
implementation</li>
<li>Metrics for DW and BI</li>
<li>Governance of DW and BI</li>
<li>Information logistics as a service</li>
