<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">Papers for ECIS cover all aspects of information systems, broadly defined, and may take the form of
<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">completed research papers and research-in-progress. Research papers should document established
<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">results and be presented according to the highest academic standards. Research-in-progress may
<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">address work still under development; academic rigour is, however, still expected. The Teaching
<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">Cases track has specific guidelines for submissions (see the info on the website).<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">Research papers, research-in-progress, and teaching cases will be published in the ECIS conference
<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">proceedings and made available in the AIS eLibrary (aisel.aisnet.org/ecis/). Research papers and
<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">teaching cases will be presented in interactive conference track sessions. Research-in-progress
<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">papers will be presented in a poster session specifically designed to allow interaction between
<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">authors and their interested colleagues. <o:p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">Formatting and Submission<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">Authors should submit to the track that best fits the research. Research papers and research-in-<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">progress papers are limited to 12 pages in length. Teaching cases can be up to 16 pages long. All
<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">submissions must use the Word template on the web site. Submissions to ECIS2013 must be original
<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">and must NOT already have been published previously in a journal or conference proceedings, nor
<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">presented at another conference. Moreover, they must NOT be currently under consideration for
<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">publication or presentation elsewhere. Note that a person can be (co)author of NO more than 3
<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">submissions to ECIS 2013 to assure diversity at the conference. Deadline for submissions is 7
