<p class="MsoNormal">The <i>International Journal of Social Media and Interactive Learning Environments </i>(IJ-SMILE:<i> </i><a href="http://www.inderscience.com/ijsmile" target="_blank">http://www.inderscience.com/ijsmile</a>)
 aims to provide a platform for practitioners and researchers to share 
their practices and research, and publish empirical research articles 
about using social media (or social networking sites) and other web 2.0 
tools to support interactive and collaborative learning. It will be 
published in print and online by the InderScience Publishers.</p><p class="MsoNormal"> </p><p class="MsoNormal">The
 inaugural issue is going to be printed out in January 2013. The papers 
which have been accepted for publication in the first issue are listed 
on the web site (<a href="http://www.inderscience.com/info/ingeneral/forthcoming.php?jcode=ijsmile" target="_blank">http://www.inderscience.com/info/ingeneral/forthcoming.php?jcode=ijsmile</a>).
 Now we are seeking scholarly manuscripts for forthcoming issues. You 
are cordially invited to submit a research paper to the journal for 
consideration of publication. Suitable topics include but are not
