Candidates should have an earned doctorate in one of the disciplines in the department and a strong record of research and scholarship in his/her disciplinary area. Candidates with a background and/or interest in IT security, especially in the context of health
systems, will find outstanding opportunities to teach and conduct research in these areas at UAB.
