excel in research and teaching positions at other major universities. Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.</font></div>

<div style="FONT-FAMILY: Consolas; FONT-SIZE: medium"><font size="2" face="Arial">The program typically takes a four-year, full-time commitment. Students spend their first two years completing course work in MIT, research methods, and supporting courses, and
the doctoral dissertation is completed in the final two years.</font></div>

<div style="FONT-FAMILY: Consolas; FONT-SIZE: medium"><font size="2" face="Arial">The focus of the program will be on three broad areas: 1) decision and management science, 2) technology and software systems, and 3) organizational and behavioral science. It
will offer a unique synthesis of knowledge from several related areas such as computer science, human-computer interaction, systems design and development, artificial intelligence, systems security, process engineering, and modeling. A unique aspect of the
program is that it offers students the opportunity to collaborate with researchers on issues relating to how IT enables better performance of key business processes such as supply chain and customer management.

(adoption and diffusion of innovations, systems building and testing), Prof. Brian Mennecke and Prof. Tony Townsend (human computer interaction and virtual reality), Prof. Dan Zhu (business intelligence), and Prof. Zhengrui Jiang (modeling, software engineering
and economics), to name a few.</font></div>
