<p style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt" class="MsoNormal"><font size="3"><font face="Calibri">The Department of Information and Operations Management in the Mays Business School at Texas A&M University seeks to fill a non-tenure-track, Lecturer/Senior Lecturer/Executive
Professor faculty position in Management Information Systems (MIS). This position may be filled by two part-time faculty. This level of faculty generally have a Master’s degree in the field and teach eight courses per year, with additional service responsibilities.

<p style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt" class="MsoNormal"><font size="3"><font face="Calibri">While teaching responsibilities may include a variety of MIS topics, our current need focuses more on programming language (VB.NET, ASP.NET, and/or Java) and advanced development
courses. In addition, an interest and/or background in supply chain management is a plus. Salary is competitive and consistent with rank and experience.<o:p></o:p></font></font></p>

<p style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt" class="MsoNormal"><font size="3"><font face="Calibri">The Department of Information and Operations Management provides programs in two major areas: management information systems (MIS) and supply chain management (SCM). The department
offers undergraduate degrees in MIS and Supply Chain, a master’s degree in MIS, and a doctoral level degree in Supply Chain. The department currently has 197 undergraduate MIS majors, 322 undergraduate Supply Chain majors, and 156 graduate students in our
MS-MIS degree program.<o:p></o:p></font></font></p>

<p style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt" class="MsoNormal"><font size="3"><font face="Calibri">The department has 30 faculty members (including 8 Lecturers/Senior Lecturers/Executive Professors) and five full-time staff members. The departmental faculty is active in
research and professional associations serving as members of editorial boards and holding leadership positions in national organizations. The department ranks 9th nationally in publications in "Production and Operations Management" and "Journal of Operations
Management" in the past five years.<o:p></o:p></font></font></p>
