Given the specificities of such voluminous and high-velocity data, a new term
was coined: Big Data.<br>

Therefore, traditional approaches are now being questioned. How can
organizations innovate with such voluminous and high-velocity data?
And, how can academic researchers propose innovative thinking in this area? <br>

By putting its main focus on this crucial research area, AIM 2013 calls for
original research works that could enlighten academic peers and practitioners
on this topic generating a tremendous interest. <br>

>From a theoretical perspective, it seems relevant to question whether the
classic methods mobilized so far in our field in terms of data robustness and
reliability are still appropriate. From the managerial view, we would like to
invite researchers to discuss the impacts of this phenomenon on IT costs,
