<p class="MsoNormal">The Department of Management, Information Systems, and Entrepreneurship in the College of Business at Washington State University, in Pullman, Washington seeks applicants for a tenure-track position (Assistant Professor) with a focus in
Information Systems starting August 2013.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><u>QUALIFICIATIONS</u><o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Candidates should hold a Ph.D. in Information Technology or a closely related field from a nationally or internationally recognized university by the start of employment. Qualified candidates must teach (and possibly design new) MIS courses
at the Undergraduate, Masters, and Ph.D. levels and should have prior demonstrated skills or records in technical courses. Preference will be given to those candidates who have taught and conducted research in healthcare information systems. Demonstrated commitment

<p class="MsoNormal"><u>DUTIES</u><o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">This position teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in Management, Information Systems and conducts research in the IS field and participates in services contributions to the unit. The successful candidate will also be expected to
make service contributions to the unit, commensurate with rank. <o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><u>COMPENSATION</u><o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">The term of appointment is a nine-month academic year, beginning on August 16, 2013. Normal teaching load is six hours (2 courses per semester). Salary and benefits are competitive; the retirement system is TIAA/CREF.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"> <o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><u>GENERAL INFORMATION</u><o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">The IS program within the department is known/ranked nationally/internationally for its research. It offers 1) complete Undergraduate program both in face-to-face and online environments, 2) courses at the Masters level, and 3) a Ph.D.
program. The College of Business (CB) within Washington State University (WSU) is accredited at the baccalaureate, masters, and doctoral levels by AACSB International - The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. The College spans the four campuses
of WSU with the largest campus in Pullman and urban campuses located in Spokane, Vancouver, and the Tri-Cities area. The CB conducts scholarly and applied research, and offers degree programs in a variety of business disciplines, and in hospitality business
management, supplementing these offerings through innovative online learning.<o:p></o:p></p>
