<div>Its Applications (SCA) and the International Conference on Cloud and</div><div>Green Computing (CGC) call for workshop proposals to be co-located with</div><div>SCA and CGC 2013, held in Karlsruhe, Germany between September 30 and</div>
<div>October 2 2013. Workshops will be held on September 30.</div><div><br></div><div>All workshop proposals that focus on fields related to Social Computing,</div><div>Applications, Cloud Computing and Green Computing are invited. Proposals</div>
<div>that focus on new and emerging topics or on application and industry</div><div>contributions are particularly encouraged. The purpose of these</div><div>workshops is to provide a focused forum for researchers to present and</div>
<div>discuss their work within a particular community. Workshop organizers</div><div>may structure programs as they like, for example including invited talks</div><div>and panel discussions. Workshops should be scheduled for either half-day</div>
<div>or full-day programs.</div><div><br></div><div>Workshop organizers are responsible for setting up a workshop website,</div><div>establishing a program committee, distributing the call for papers and</div><div>participation, establishing a paper submission system, reviewing papers,</div>
<div>notifying authors of acceptance and rejection, and organizing papers</div><div>into appropriate sessions. Workshop submission and notification</div><div>deadlines may be set by workshop organizers; however, the general SCA</div>
<div>and CGC 2013 camera ready and author registration deadlines must be</div><div>followed.</div><div><br></div><div>Each paper selected for presentation must be presented in person by at</div><div>least one author. At least one author for every paper requires a full</div>
<div>conference registration.</div><div><br></div><div>Proceedings of all workshops will be published by IEEE Computer Society</div><div>Press, in the same proceedings as SCA and CGC 2013. All workshop papers</div><div>will also be electronically available through IEEE Xplore Digital</div>
<div>Database, and professionally indexed through INSPEC and EI Index.</div><div><br></div><div>********* Workshop Proposals *********</div><div><br></div><div>A workshop proposal should contain:</div><div><br></div><div>
Title of workshop and workshop acronym.</div><div>A description of the workshop, its focus, and its goals (<1 page).</div><div>Topics of interest.</div><div>Names and affiliations of workshop organizers.</div><div>Prior history of this workshop, if any. Include information about number</div>
<div>of submissions, acceptance rate, and number of participants.</div><div>Brief biography of organizers including information about any other</div><div>workshops or conferences organized.</div><div>Tentative composition of the committees. Include names and affiliations.</div>
