<div>The Integrated Information Technology program at the University of South Carolina invites applications and nominations for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in health information technology.</div>

<div>The successful candidate will join the faculty of USC’s Masters in Health Information Technology (MHIT), an interdisciplinary program with the Arnold School of Public Health. The position will support a new initiative to develop an online delivery option
for the MHIT. Online as well as traditional classroom teaching, collaborative research, and grant writing related to health IT will be expected. The expanding Integrated Information Technology program is actively involved with the regional business and healthcare
communities through IT-oLogy (www.IT-ology.org and www.hrsm.sc.edu/iit/ ) as well as Health Sciences South Carolina (www.healthsciencessc.org).</div>

<div>An earned doctorate in information technology or related discipline is required. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of both information technology and the healthcare environment and a demonstrated potential for research and high scholarly
impact at the intersection of these two disciplines. Candidates should possess strong commitment to teaching, interdisciplinary research, and cultural diversity. Special consideration will be given to applicants with experience in online teaching, grant writing/external
funding and/or IT responsibilities in health organizations.</div>
