<html><head></head><body style="word-wrap: break-word; -webkit-nbsp-mode: space; -webkit-line-break: after-white-space; "><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Helvetica; ">Social Informatics Best Student Paper Award</span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Helvetica; ">Call for nomination for the 2012 Social Informatics Best Student Paper Award</span> </p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Helvetica; ">The Special Interest Group for Social Informatics (SIG-SI) and the Rob Kling Center for Social Informatics (RKCSI) are seeking nominations for an award for the best paper written by a doctoral student on a topic informed by social informatics. Nominations may include a published paper in a peer reviewed journal during 2012 or a conference paper presented in 2012. The author or authors will present their paper at the 9<sup>th</sup> Annual SIG-SI Symposium on November 2 and receive a $500 cash award at the 2013 Annual Meeting of the American Society for Information Science and Technology (ASIS&T) in Montreal.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Helvetica; ">Nominations letters should be sent to Howard Rosenbaum (</span><a href="mailto:hrosenba@indiana.edu"><span style="font-family: Helvetica; color: rgb(56, 110, 255); ">hrosenba@indiana.edu</span></a><span style="font-family: Helvetica; ">) or Pnina Fichman (</span><a href="mailto:shachaf@indiana.edu"><span style="font-family: Helvetica; color: rgb(56, 110, 255); ">fichman@indiana.edu</span></a><span style="font-family: Helvetica; ">) by July 31, 2013 and must include a full citation, a brief explanation for the nomination, and a copy of the article.
