<font>The schedule for the election period is as follows:</font><br>

<font>Oct 15-Nov 13: Self-nominations accepted for the two elected steering committee positions that are available this round.</font><br>

<font>Nov 14-Nov 27: 2 week voting period, culminating in a formal announcement of the winners shortly thereafter. (Note that the elections page says that winners will be announced Dec 12, but we expect that it will actually be much sooner)</font><br>

<font>NOTE: You must be a member of the community to nominate yourself for a leadership position and vote in the elections. To become a member of the community, please visit the following URL and join:</font><br>

the page. There is a small fee to join a SIG, and SIGART is the cheaper option at $25. </font><br>
