<P DIR=LTR><SPAN LANG="en-us"><FONT FACE="Garamond">The Department of</FONT> <FONT FACE="Garamond">Information Systems at the College of Business of the City University of Hong Kong invites applications for one or more tenure-track position(s) at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor beginning in July 2014. Candidates must have receive</FONT><FONT FACE="Garamond">d</FONT><FONT FACE="Garamond"> a doctorate in Information Systems or a related area by July 2014. Candidates must also have a strong commitment to high-quality research and excellent teaching. For appointments at the Associate Professor level, a substantial track record of research pu</FONT><FONT FACE="Garamond">b</FONT><FONT FACE="Garamond">lications in top-tier journals is essential. For appointments at the Assistant Professor level, strong indication of the ability to publish in top tier journals is critical.</FONT></SPAN></P>
<P DIR=LTR><SPAN LANG="en-us"><FONT FACE="Garamond">Successful candidates should have the ability to teach at both graduate (MBA/MSc)</FONT><FONT FACE="Garamond"> and undergraduate (BBA) levels, and be able to effectively teach large freshman classes in the </FONT></SPAN><SPAN LANG="en-us"><I></I></SPAN><SPAN LANG="en-us"><I><FONT FACE="Garamond">Introduction to Information Management</FONT></I></SPAN><SPAN LANG="en-us"></SPAN><SPAN LANG="en-us"><FONT FACE="Garamond"> </FONT><FONT FACE="Garamond">with a strong emphasis on IT applications. Hence the demonstrated capacity to motivate students to appreciate the value</FONT> <FONT FACE="Garamond">of innovative information management on businesses in the Internet era and to excite them about developing a career in business information services will be highly valuable.
