<p class="MsoNormal">The School of Interdisciplinary Informatics at the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor in Biomedical Informatics. Areas of interest include, but are not
limited to, Bioinformatics, Health Informatics, Visual Analytics, Public Health Informatics and closely related areas. Candidates must have received a doctorate in Bioinformatics or a closely related field prior to the employment start date. The selected
candidate is expected to conduct high-quality research and demonstrate strong commitment to undergraduate and graduate teaching.

<p class="MsoNormal">The College of Information Science and Technology is an interdisciplinary college focused on meeting the needs of a vibrant metropolitan area. The College of IS&T is responsible for Bachelor of Science Programs in Information Assurance,
Bioinformatics, and IT Innovation as well as ABET accredited Bachelor of Science programs in Computer Science and Management Information Systems, and Master of Science degrees in Biomedical Informatics, Information Assurance, Management Information Systems,
and Computer Science. The College hosts an innovative college-wide interdisciplinary Ph.D. in Information Technology and in Biomedical Informatics. The School has experienced rapid growth in recent years.
