<br>[Scope]<br><br>Over the last two decades, many organizations and individuals have relied on electronic collaboration <br>between distributed teams of humans, computer applications, and/or autonomous robots to achieve higher <br>
productivity and produce joint products that would have been impossible to develop without the <br>contributions of multiple collaborators. Technology has evolved from standalone tools, to open systems <br>supporting collaboration in multi-organizational settings, and from general purpose tools to specialized <br>
collaboration grids. Future collaboration solutions that fully realize the promises of electronic <br>collaboration require advancements in networking, technology and systems, user interfaces and interaction <br>paradigms, and interoperation with application-specific components and tools.<br>
<br>The Tenth International Conference on Collaborative Computing (CollaborateCom 2014) will continue to <br>serve as a premier international forum for discussion among academic and industrial researchers, <br>practitioners, and students interested in collaborative networking, technology and systems, and applications.<br>

- Workflow management for collaborative networks/systems<br><br>[Industry Track Papers]<br><br>The Industry/Government Track solicits papers describing implementations of Collaborative Computing solutions <br>relevant to industrial or government settings. The primary emphasis is on papers that advance the understanding of <br>
practical, applied, or pragmatic issues related to the use of Collaborative Computing technologies in industry and <br>government and highlight new research challenges arising from attempts to create such real applications. <br>
Applications can be in any field including, but not limited to: e-commerce, medical and pharmaceutical, defense, <br>public policy, finance, engineering, environment, manufacturing, telecommunications, and government.<br>
<br>The Industry/Government Track will consist of competitively-selected contributed papers. Submitters must clearly <br>identify in which of the following sub-areas their paper should be evaluated as distinct review criteria will be <br>
used to evaluate each category of submission.<br>- Deployed: Deployed systems that are providing real value to industry, Government, or other organizations or <br>professions. These deployed systems should point out how they explicitly leverage Collaborative Computing <br>
technologies or describe either qualitatively (lessons learned, deployment experiences, etc.) or quantitatively <br>the impact of using Collaborative Computing technologies for enhancing operational systems.<br>- Emerging: Emerging applications and technology must have clear user interest and demonstrable value to Industry, <br>
Government, or other users (e.g., scientific or medical professions) to distinguish them from research track papers, <br>or they must provide insight into issues and factors that affect the successful use of Collaborative Computing <br>
technology and methods. Papers that describe infrastructure that enables the large-scale deployment of Collaborative <br>Computing techniques or external validation of Collaborative Computing technologies are in this area.<br>
<br>[Awards]<br><br>As in previous years, CollaborateCom 2014 will feature a best paper award and a best student paper award (to be <br>selected by the program committee). A paper is eligible for the best student paper award if the first author is a <br>
full-time student at the time of submission. A partial travel grant will be offered to the winner student.<br><br>[Paper Submission]<br><br>We invite original research papers that have not been previously published and are not currently <br>
under review for publication elsewhere. Contributions addressing all areas related to collaborative networking, <br>technology and systems, and applications are solicited. The submitted manuscript should closely reflect the <br>
final paper as it will appear in the Proceedings. Submitted papers should be 10 pages in two-column IEEE <br>proceeding format. <br>[Workshops Proposals]<br><br>Proposals for half-day or full day workshops that focus on CollaborateCom 2014 related themes are solicited.<br>Workshop proposals should be at most five pages, including a biographical sketch of each instructor, and submitted <br>
to the Workshop Chairs. Proposals will be evaluated based on the expertise and experience of the organizers and the <br>relevance and importance of the subject matter. Please refer to call for workshop proposals for details. <br>
<br>[Panels Proposals]<br><br>Proposals for panel discussions that focus on future visions for collaborative networking, applications, <br>and worksharing are preferred. Potential panel organizers should submit a panel proposal of at most five pages, <br>
including biographical sketches of the proposed panelists to the Panel Chairs. <br><br>[Tutorials Proposals] <br><br>Proposals for full and half-day tutorials are solicited. Tutorials are intended to enhance the technical <br>
program, and as such they should be relevant to collaborative computing, networking, worksharing, and applications. <br>Potential tutorial presenters should submit a tutorial proposal of at most three pages, including: description of <br>
