Assistant Professor of Cybersecurity<br>

The Information and Technology Management Department of The University of Tampa’s Sykes College of Business is seeking candidates for a tenure-track position to support a new major in Cybersecurity. The position will begin in fall 2015 at the rank of Assistant
Professor. A Ph.D. in Management Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Information Security or related field is required. The Sykes College of Business is AACSB accredited and the MIS program is accredited by ABET.<br>

Responsibilities may include teaching courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels in information security, cybersecurity and management information systems with teaching, professional and/or research experience in information security or cybersecurity
required. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"">Candidates should have a commitment to teaching excellence, student involvement, and community service. We emphasize
relevant, applied and active scholarship. A typical teaching load is three (3) four credit hour courses in a 14-week semester. The selected candidate may teach a sequence of courses involving IT infrastructure, network security and ethical hacking.<br>

The successful candidate will have: <br>
1. A Ph.D. is required in the field of Management Information Systems, Information Security/Assurance, Cybersecurity, Computer Information Systems or other related field.

2. Teaching specialization desired in information security and network security. <br>
3. Active scholarship in information security, cybersecurity or related field.<br>
