University of Jyvaskyla: JYU Visiting Fellow Programme 2021 - Call for applications

University of Jyvaskyla has opened a program for application, through which it is possible to invite new or old research partners to us here in Jyväskylä in the autumn of 2021. Get acquainted with the program and spread the word about the opportunity to your international colleagues/research partners.

The aim of the JYU Visiting Fellow Programme is to strengthen University’s global engagement and strategic collaboration with international partners. The main emphasis of the programme is on research collaboration but the Visiting Fellows are also invited to participate in and contribute to the development of teaching and learning at JYU. The JYU Visiting Fellow Programme is intended for post-doc researchers, associate professors, and full professors with demonstrated high-level research experience in their areas of expertise.

Applicants are expected to be in contact with researchers at one of the faculties or departments at the University of Jyväskylä prior to submitting an application in order to discuss possible collaboration and to specify joint research themes. An invitation from the prospective host is required for the application. In order to extend the research collaboration networks researchers from China, India, USA and African countries are especially welcome.

Mobility under the Covid-19 pandemic period has been restricted and limited. University of Jyväskylä continues its operations in accordance with the current national and local Covid-19 pandemic policies.
