Dear all,

We are sending you this email to invite you to contribute to the topic of "Co-Development with Software and Business Engineering Frameworks and Methods", in the 55th Hawai'i International Conference on System Sciences (HICSS55), which will be held on January 4 - 7 2022 , in Hyatt Regency Maui, Hawai'i, USA.

Call for papers: Co-Development with Software and Business Engineering Frameworks and Methods<https://hicss.hawaii.edu/tracks-55/software-technology/#co-development-with-software-and-business-engineering-frameworks-and-methods-minitrack>

A minitrack at HICSS55, January 4 - 7 2022 , in Hyatt Regency Maui

This minitrack provides an opportunity for business and information systems development researchers to share their versatile findings and experiences about co-development of business and related software.

In this minitrack, we seek research papers and experience reports that explore how plan-driven, change-driven or hybrid frameworks, methods and tools are selected, integrated and deployed to align, synchronize and/or control software development, information systems development, business development, business process development, project and program management, and innovation management in the various digitalization and development contexts of businesses, their processes, products and services. The main emphasis of the minitrack is to improve understanding and design of the conceptual and methodological linkages between software engineering and business engineering. Plan-driven, change-driven and hybrid frameworks, methods and tools are used in both "worlds", and for that reason various combinations are possible, and many incoherencies and different kind of organizational tensions may occur. In addition to academics, we strongly encourage practitioners to submit their insights and experiences.

Deadline for submissions is June 15, 2021 (11:59 pm HST).
Relevant topics for this minitrack include (but are not limited to):

  *   Frameworks, methods and tools
