Dear colleagues,

Apologies for cross-posting.

As you know, ECSCW (European Conference on Computer-Supported Cooperative Work) is an international venue on practice-centred computing and the design of cooperation technologies and as a single-track event offers space for reflection and discussion.

We are delighted to announce that ECSCW 2022 will take place in Coimbra, Portugal, from June 27th to July 1st, 2022.

Nevertheless, the conference will be organized as a hybrid event, to make sure all interested researchers can attend despite the uncertainties associated with travel restrictions.

It is already possible to submit your manuscripts to ECSCW 2022!

Since 2017 ECSCW considers two kinds of work:

  * "ECSCW Contribution" papers published in the CSCW Journal.
  * "Exploratory Papers", published in the EUSSET Digital Library, with a DOI.

For the "ECSCW contributions", a flexible R&R workflow of journal publication is adopted and the accepted papers will be published in the CSCW Journal: https://www.springer.com/journal/10606. Papers are published "Online first" as soon as accepted and formatted.

For a detailed information on the journal publication process and the standard schedule for ECSCW contributions in the CSCW Journal, see https://www.eusset.eu/the-ecscw-journal-publication-model/.

More information on the important dates and conference registration fee will be available soon here: https://ecscw.eusset.eu/2022/

Best wishes,

Elena Parmiggiani, Claudia Lopez, and Mohammad Jarrahi

Program editors of ECSCW 2022
