<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-autospace:none"><span lang="EN-US" style="color:black">We call for contributions to the IRIS/SCIS 2023 conference. Established in 1978, the IRIS seminar is the leading<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-autospace:none"><span lang="EN-US" style="color:black">venue for Nordic IS researchers to gather and share the fruit of their recent research endeavors. The IRIS<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-autospace:none"><span lang="EN-US" style="color:black">community is characterized by its informal, convivial atmosphere where research ideas are workshopped in<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-autospace:none"><span lang="EN-US" style="color:black">an egalitarian, Scandinavian way.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-autospace:none"><span lang="EN-US" style="color:black"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-autospace:none"><span lang="EN-US" style="color:black">The conference has two sides with their distinctive formats. The IRIS consists of working groups wherein<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-autospace:none"><span lang="EN-US" style="color:black">research papers are allocated one hour of feedback time from working group participants. The papers are<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-autospace:none"><span lang="EN-US" style="color:black">read by the group members beforehand and the one-hour time is used efficiently for constructive feedback.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-autospace:none"><span lang="EN-US" style="color:black">The SCIS consists of conference papers being presented and discussed in the traditional conference format.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-autospace:none"><span lang="EN-US" style="color:black">Each SCIS paper is assigned a discussant who, after the paper presentation, delivers their comments to the<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-autospace:none"><span lang="EN-US" style="color:black">audience.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
