adopt digital technologies to reshape existing business models or create new ones, with wide-ranging effects on organizations and society. While large firms often lead these efforts, small and medium-sized enterprises also face challenges in integrating new
technologies with limited resources (Sagala & ri, 2024). In the Information Systems field, scholars have shown how digital transformation alters organizational structures, processes, value creation, and work practices (Vial, 2019; Wessel et al., 2021; Baiyere
et al., 2020), with strategy playing a key role in guiding these shifts (Chanias et al., 2019; Matt et al., 2015). Beyond a processual perspective on digital transformation, outcomes such as firm performance, resilience, and responsible transformation remain
central, with recent work highlighting the importance of sustaining digital transformation and aligning it with societal needs (Carroll et al., 2023; Pappas et al., 2023; Zimmer et al., 2023). </span></p>
