The Tilburg School of Economics and Management (TISEM) of Tilburg University
has a long and distinguished history of top-level research and education in
Economics and Management and is accredited by AACSB (for more information go
to: http://www.tilburguniversity.nl/faculties/feb/). The Department of
Information Management is presently inviting applications for a tenure track
position of Assistant Professor in Information Management. Strong
consideration will be given to candidates with teaching and research
expertise in the areas of IT Governance, IS/IT strategy and MIS.

 

TISEM offers a full Bachelor and Master program in Information Management;
however IM courses are also taught in other Bachelor and Master programs
e.g. in Business Administration and International Business. Given its
positioning the thrust of the information management program is a strong
link with Business Administration and Economics. Areas of teaching include
Management Information Systems, Information Systems Strategy, IT Governance,
E-Business,and, Business Process Analysis. 

 

To be successful at TISEM, the candidate needs to be able to demonstrate a
commitment to research excellence and have a strong ongoing record of
publications in internationally recognized high-quality journals.
Additionally the candidate needs to possess excellent teaching skills. The
working languages at TISEM are English and Dutch. Information about the

Qualifications:

Applicants must have earned a doctorate in a field related to MIS,
Information Management or closely related business field. Additionally,
applicants must have a Master's Degree and a Bachelor's degree in Business
Administration with a major or minor in MIS or Information Management.
Preferred applicants possess a good command of the Dutch language
