Microsoft Chair in Information Systems
Copenhagen Business School expect to be able to invite applications for a vacant Professorship in Information Systems at the newly created Department of IT Management. The professorship is co-funded by Microsoft and is available initially for a 5-year period with the possibility of a continuation in a permanent tenured professorship.
The position is a full Professorship with research and teaching obligations.
The research topic is the development, implementation, adoption and management of ERP-systems for SME´s, taking into account new developments in IT-architectures, new business requirements, and new platforms for delivering IT-services.
Successful applicants must have an international profile, a strong record of research publications, and teaching experience in the areas of the professorship. They must be capable of providing dynamic leadership in the development of research and teaching, in securing external research funding, and in establishing strong ties with industry.
To fulfill the research requirements of the position, the applicant chosen is expected to be physically present on a regular basis and actively participate in the teaching and research activities of the Department as well as maintaining and establishing broad links across CBS.
The Department of IT Management is a new department being formed as a merger of Center for Applied ICT and Department of Informatics both Copenhagen Business School.
This is an advanced notification. The final approval of research area and conditions will take place before Christmas, and the deadline for applications is expected to be 15th January.
