International PhD Seminar: Knowledge, Information Technology & Networks, 19-23 June, 2011, VU University Amsterdam
 The field of knowledge, information technology and networks (KIN) has become increasingly popular among organizations who assume that its innovative capacity increasingly depends on information and knowledge being created and shared within networks ranging from fellow professionals to competitors. These future scenario’s often lack a solid understanding of what is really going on in this field and also miss out on the interesting new phenomena that arise from practice. The responsibility of academic scholars is to provide a needed counter-balance and conduct academic research on these topics that are empirically and conceptually sound as well as reflective. This course helps Doctoral candidates to become informed about the latest research within this field and academically reflect on the role of KIN for organisations.

International faculty includes:
Michel Avital (University of Amsterdam);
Patrick Cohendet  (HEC Montreal);
Marleen Huysman (VU University Amsterdam);
