Two Position Announcements
Information Systems
Loyola University Maryland, Department of Information Systems and Operations Management invites applications for a tenure track position in Information Systems commencing in Fall 2012. Candidates must possess a doctorate (or be ABD) in information systems or a related field from an AACSB accredited institution. Interest in and experience with cybersecurity, information systems, and networking management are highly desirable. An interest in teaching Operations Management is also beneficial.
Operations Management
Loyola University Maryland, Department of Information Systems and Operations Management invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in Operations Management, commencing in Fall 2012. We are seeking an individual with a strong research portfolio and a completed doctorate in Operations Management or a related field and excellent teaching capability. Special strength in risk management or supply chain management is valued. Teaching interest in Information Systems is an additional desired asset. Experience and involvement in industry are also highly valued. Senior-level assistant professors or early-stage associate professors are particularly encouraged to apply. Applicants with strong leadership potential who appreciate the importance of a liberal arts education within the Jesuit tradition are ideal for this position.
The Joseph A. Sellinger, S.J., School of Business and Management at Loyola University Maryland is AACSB-accredited in business and accounting and offers undergraduate, graduate and Executive MBA programs. The ISOM department supports a vibrant IS major and a rapidly growing IS minor program within the business school.
