AIS would like to congratulate Aalto University Professor Matti Rossi on
his appointment as the new editor-in-chief of the Communications of the
Association of Information Systems, effective as of July 2012. Rossi's
expertise in mobile commerce systems, software business, ERP
implementation projects, and the design and development of CASE tools
will undoubtedly serve him well in this position as he oversees the
publication of articles on a wide range of subjects related to various
research results and beyond.

In addition to Rossi's numerous articles and publications, he has also
been an active member of the information systems

community. He has served as a senior and associate editor of the
Journal of Information Systems, a member of the editorial board for the
Journal of Database Management and the American Journal of Business, as
well as a reviewer for several leading IS journals and conferences. He
has held a number of positions at different AIS conferences including
track co-chair and associate editor.

If you have any questions about becoming involved with the AIS
publications team, please contact Kalle Lyytinen, the AIS vice president
