PhD Scholarship available at the J.E. Cairnes School of Business and
Economics, National University of Ireland (NUI), Galway 

A scholarship is available in the J.E. Cairnes School of Business &
Economics, NUI Galway, to facilitate fulltime research towards a PhD degree
in the area of management control systems/ management information
systems/performance management systems research. 

The Scholarship includes an annual stipend of up to €16,000. 

This research is located within the Institute for Business, Social Sciences
and Public Policy (IBSSPP) under the third of five priority research areas:
Business Performance, Agility and Governance. Researchers in this cluster
are currently examining critical issues in performance management using a
multidisciplinary approach. See www.nuigalway.ie/cisc

The Scholarship is open to all nationalities and is tenable for up to 4
years.

Closing date for applications is 31st July 2012. Applicants should have some
prior research experience as part of a masters programme.

Applications for this scholarship should include a detailed CV and a
statement outlining your  suitability, in particular your research
experience to date, together with a one page outline of a  research
